No matter where you are from, being popular is a common interest for most people, both men and women. When i say popular, i guess there are two meanings to it. One "a serious relationship" and two when you mean "i just want to get laid."
Ever wander where you would have the best luck? If I were a white guy with blue eyes, i'd definitely come to japan but where's the best place for Japanese men and women?
Where Japanese Women should go to get popular
Out of all the places, the first place i would pick for japanese women is Japan. The reason to this is that many (if not most) Japanese men are interested in ONLY japanese women, atleast for a serious relationship.
Saying "Japanese people are scared of forigners" is a bit exaggerated expression but many japanese people have never actually been in contact with a foreigner. This probably is because japan is a homogenious country and because most Japanese people aren't fluent in english.
Since japanese men only target japanese women, i would say Japan is one of the best market Japanese women have.
What about foreign countries outside japan? From my experience, I think japanese women are popular in most western countries. The stereotype of japanese women is usually something like nice, caring, weak, smart, cute, dependent, etc. Or if they've been watching too much porn, the image may be something like sexy, always hornny, easy target. Either-way, japanese girls do get the attraction.
I have two little advices for japanese women seeking for attraction in foreign countries.
One, if you are looking for a seroius relationship, be careful. Foreign men are more social than japanese men.
Two, get used to expressing your feelings. Ive seen many foreign men break up with japanese women because foreign men are not used to women that dont express their feelings.
Where Japanese men should go to get popular
I've mentioned that many Japanese men only target Japanese women, but that doesn't mean all Japanese men don't want the attraction.
Unlike Japanese women, I've never felt any advantages in western countries. But there are two place where Japanese men may have our luck.
The first place is China (including Hong-Kong). I've heard that Chinese women tend to like Japanese men because of the influence of Japanese tv stars and electronics. I have never actually been to China nor Hong-Kong but I believe this is true from my personal experience when i used to study in Canada.
The second place is Australia. Few of my friends in Australia have told me Japanese men are popular there. I have no idea why or any details on the specifics so it would be great if anybody currently in Australia could share the truth.
With that all said, knowing where i may be popular and actually being able to meet somebody there is a totally different story. Being popular isn't as easy as many of us wish
